I want my XBox 360 gamepad to be set to Player 2. Since there seems to be no easy way of accomplishing this, I want to write a dummy driver that simulates an XInput device that does nothing besides blocking port 1 so my gamepad gets detected as number 2. Microsoft Common Controller Driver is a new game input standard that is used for both the Xbox360 console and for Windows XP SP1 and above. The Xbox360 controller or any controllers that utilizes this standard will enable the device to be used on Windows also. This Redist Package includes the driver for IHVs to redist with their hardware.

Hello,
I have VMWare Fusion (Version 2.0 (116369)) on my Mac (OS X 10.5.5) and am having trouble with the Microsoft 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows.
Installation from CD went fine, the hardware is detected in Windows XP (SP3) and it downloads the latest update from MS. However, when I press the button on the receiver to start to link it with my 360 pad the light on the receiver does not start flashing. When I disconnect the receiver from fusion and it goes back to OS X control then pressing the button on the receiver starts the light flashing. Booting into BootCamp also has the button set the light flashing and it can connect to my 360 pad.
Has anyone got one of the Microsoft Xbox 360 receivers working with a 360 pad under fusion 2.0?
