I'm debating with myself and my wallet weather to get a 4k TV whenever my old Vizio dies (soon, its making sounds).

I live in a rural area and I can only get 10 megabit internet here (max download around 1 MB/sec when things are good) and I think thats too slow for 4k streaming. This means I will have to download my content which is ok with me.

Since 4k has four times the pixels than 1080 is it safe to assume that a 'standard' 4k movie torrent will be around four times the size? It seems like a good 1080p movie rip is around 8GB. So does this means that the 4k rips will be around 32GB?
